Hi, I'm Ta'Shonna! I started my business at 14 after interviewing for a job at a retail clothing store. The manager told me I was a perfect fit and was ready to hire me—until she asked my age. When I said I was 14, she told me I was too young but encouraged me to come back at 16. Disappointed, I told my mom what happened and said, "I wish teens could be their own bosses." With her support, I turned that wish into reality and launched my own business.
